Ethics approval for data collection was received by the University of Cape Town's Ethics in Research Committee on the 10th of July 2017.
Data Collection Notes
Respondents were recruited primarily through social media, and through contacts with pro-cannabis organizations. Twitter and Facebook pages were created to inform potential respondents of the research. The 20-page questionnaire was administered online to respondents on a website called ganjanomics. Periodic 'posts' and 'tweets' were sent out as reminders during data collection.
