It drew on those questionnaires used in the 1993 Project for Statistics on Living Standards and Development (PSLSD), the 1996 South African Census, the 1999 Integrated Family Survey (Langeberg Survey), the 2000 Khayelitsha\/Mitchell\u2019s Plain Survey (KMPS 2000), and the 2001 South African Census. The pre-final draft was extensively discussed with staff from Citizen Surveys, Cape Town, and considerably amended and reformatted.
